The Karwendel camp Scharnitz is a small family camping site, wich was built in 2008. Scharnitz is situated about 25 km from Innsbruck and 100 km from Munich idyllically located in the Olympiaregion Seefeld. At the campsite you can enjoy the most beautiful time of the year with your mobile home, caravan or tent. In the summer the largest protected nature reserve area in the Northern limestone Alps, the Alpine Park Karwendel and the Olympiaregion Seefeld offers you countless leisure and sport activities. Visit us and experience the Alpine Park on foot, by bicycle or simple paddle by kayak along romantic upper Isar. The cross-country ski tracks in the Olympiaregion can easily be reached by foot in two minutes. The 266 km of perfectly prepared ski tracks achieved the 1st place in the big ADAC cross country region test in 2009.

IMPRESSIONS

Scharnitz in summer is shaped through the Alpine Park Karwendel, due to its geographical location. The area Natura 2000 has an area of about 920 km2 and is a playground for outdoor enhusiasts. Numerous cabins and hunts and pastures are just waiting to be discovered by mountain bikers and hikers. Canoeists and kayakers can explore the best of the Isar by paddeling, just in front of your door. Wheather its mountain bikers, climbers, hikers or kayakers – at the Karwendelcamp in Scharnitz you are just right! There are also many other sports facilities (Tennis, Golf, etc) in the Olympic Region Seefeld.
